this question should really belong to the BA forum...but since we're comparing different oneworld programs here, I guess I'll just post my question here first...
it's quick question about BA Exec Club, maybe Merry can help me on this...
so far I know there are 3 "versions" of the Exec Club...US, UK and Global...so, does it mean that members residing in any countries outside of US and UK are enrolled in the Global Exec Club ??
I asked this because...I just got a copy of the Exec Club Membership Handbook from one of my colleagues...and this handbook seems to be talking about "Executive Club in Asia"..."The benefits of the Executive Club in Asia apply only to residents of Brunei, Hong Kong, Kampuchea, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, N. Korea, People's Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, S. Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam."
Unlike the Global Exec Club...in the handbook it says we need 700 points to become Silver and 1,700 points to become Gold...more like the US and UK versions of Exec Club...but, they don't seem to have elite bonus for Silver and Gold, so it's not exactly the US version, I guess...
And, I just found out they do have the same "zero-ing" policy, like what CX has too...that means whenever you attain a higher tier, your Points balance will be reset to 0...so in fact my calculations before were not exactly correct...
So, in fact how many "versions" of the Exec Club do they really have ??
