even if I start from scratch with BA now...I need 27 Y sectors to become Sapphire...and then another 27 Y sectors to become Emerald...

and, although I'm already Ruby with CX now, with 4 sectors towards Sapphire (current status does matter, due to their "zero-ing" policy), I still need 36 Y sectors to become Sapphire with them, and then another 80 (!!) Y sectors to become Emerald...

should I really stick to the airline that I fly the most often, or is alliance-wide recognition good enough ?? what do all of you think ??
