I was thinking of joining *A, b/c the RT from LHR to PPT (via AKL), would entitle me for a EU/EU RT award.
It's sure LH, would be the best choice (I could enrol via AirOne -I'm italian-) but I was really interested in any "status, mile subscription bonus, awards, etc" existing differences...I could subscribe via NZ and get all *A's benefits as well.
I will continue giving my preference to SkyTeam, but for an one off journey I would get the maximum...
