I'm very close to booking this over the Labor Day long w/end in NSW, any one else interested in this MR?? It's crazy but it means plenty of miles and retaining status.

Anyone know what the odds are of an op upgrade if you're a SEN on these legs?

Fri 3 Oct LAX-MUC LH453 1625-1245+1 (Sat) [sightseeing in Munich for 3-4 hours?]

Sat 4 Oct MUC-LHR LH4558 1930-2030 [spend the night in London]

Sun 5 Oct LHR-FRA LH4501 630-905 [need to get up very early for this flight]

Sun 5 Oct FRA-SFO LH454 1000-1210 [does the LHR departure leave me enough time to connect in 55 min in FRA? I think it should be fine as Ill only have carryon (nothing checked in) and will probably get my BP in LHR]

Sun 5 Oct SFO-SYD UA863 2250-610+2 [have the full day in SFO, then back to Sydney in the evening, back into Sydney on Tuesday morning 610am, straight into work]

Best things: Cheap fare A$1519 (US$970) plus taxes - equates to approx A$0.054c per mile or US$0.034 per mile. (If you are SEN at 25% bonus, UA 1K 100% on the UA segments?, MX 50% on all flights)
Status miles: nearly 30,000
Leave: well i don't take any as I take advantage of the public holiday
