I do not know much about Ramadan traditions (other than day time fasting), so please forgive me if these questions highlight my lack of knowlege.
- Why would service reductions only be on certain routes? If for whatever reason QR can't/doesn't want to serve alcohol on regional routes, why would they on long-haul?
- Are these reductions required by law or is it QR's choice?
- Regarding the poster who said the champagne was poured in the galley instead of at the seat: I am assuming that is related to Ramadan tradition, can anyone elaborate?
- Do Emirates and Etihad have similar policies?
- Are other airlines flying in/out of the region subject to these rules?
