That was our experience a few weeks ago. Queues were ridiculous.

We booked the VIP treatment through our hotel. I'm sure we paid Y fare, but it was about $125 US for the VIP pickup described in all the services mentioned plus a ride to our hotel in Seminyak.

It wasn't the cheapest route to go, but it was convenient to do everything through the hotel and we got the SPG points for it.
