it's basically guarantees no worse than AAnytime. I tried a flight tomorrow $1120 and it's asking for 49000 miles + $10, i.e., you save 1000 miles. strangely on the friday return it can only show one flight.
tried another flight way out and it's about 1.37c/mile.
