If you're referring to Coupon Connection, you can't buy points there. You can barter points in one program for points in another, and various other items (upgrade certificates, hotel stay certificates, etc.). Notice the verb: barter.

To my (very limited) knowledge, that will depend on the operating carrier, and possibly what laws are in effect for that carrier. I would recommend talking to your daughter's care provider. You can also read the
