Welcome to our community, PERRL!

PERRL asked: What would it mean to be SEN in terms of being able to upgrade internationally next year?

As a SEN you receive one free one way upgrade voucher for flights within Europe after every 50,000 status miles earned, which can also be used for you and your accompanying family members and friends. Two vouchers are required for an upgrade on intercontinental flights.

You can redeem M&M miles for upgrades on LH/OS/UA among others, spending MP miles for upgrades are good for travel on UA and on LH flights (must be LH flight number and LH = carrier, no UA-code-shares) only. The price for a round trip upgrade Europe/North America vv is for members who are registered with a North American address 40k miles. In M&M you can upgrade on any published fare, in MP on selected fares only (Business Class: C, Coach Class: H). M&M charges for members who are not based in North America 70k miles, MP 40k.

Increased flexibility with an 'Overdraft Credit' of 160,000 miles, allowing you to redeem for any Lufthansa upgrade or free flight award.

25% Executive Bonus each time you earn status miles on any *A carriers.

The opportunity to take along a companion for half the amount of miles on LH/OS free flight award redemption. Unused miles will not expire as long as you retain your SEN/FTL status

Increased flexibility with an 'Overdraft Credit' of 160,000 miles, allowing you to redeem for any upgrade or free flight awards.

In addition to that, maybe this threads are useful for you:
