I don't think anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer here on this board; as long as it is over dimensions allowed, CX check-in staff have every right to deny you from checking that bag in. However, given that it is not too big, or that perhaps you have elite status or are traveling in J or F, they will probably let you in. The only thing you can do is either repack or use a smaller bag, or start thinking of a plan B in case they really turn you away.
