Yes you are correct, that's fine that is contractually all QF is obliged to do. They are not contractually obliged to serve {xyz} brand champagne in the F lounge, provide spa services, sit down meals either but they do. They are not contractually obliged to alcohol on flights either, but they do. It is about expectations, in the past this sort of luggage transfer would not have been a problem, and so people do expect them to behave as they did in the past. But they don't - which is fine and their perogative - but I wish they'd stop bleating about being a premium carrier. They are wannabe premium carrier.

Well, if people to fly QF despite ongoing enhancements, my answer is NO, why should they ? They're spot on if people still continue to fly them despite such "enhancements".
