Howdy all,

I recently booked a SYD-DFW flight and went to request an upgrade with my points. I realised my agent booked a "Q" fare although I told him I was going to request an upgrade. Obviously I was unable to put in a points request.

I rang QF just to see if they could help me on the phone. The guy on the phone told me that as this was a discounted fare I was unable to upgrade. He then told me that this would change in about 2 weeks and I will be able to upgrade.

Has anyone herd about this?
