Pictures seem to have different angles but signs for 22L/4R appear in the background. One pic has a bridge in the background Mass (Turnpike?) which indicates the camera for that pic is North of the aircraft. It's apparent not all the pictures were from the same location. We do know we're talking left winglet and left horizontal stab.
Then a video with a BOS spokesperson said the 767 was taxiing on Bravo.
I've been pulling my hair out looking at pictures, runway maps and google maps to get a perspective on landmarks and will take a guess... probably to be proved wrong when airport camera video is released.
SWAG (you know what that means) ... the RG was holding a bit shorter than the hold short marking of 4L on Echo or Kilo adjacent to Bravo.
That would be very close to the southern end of the passenger terminal where 4 taxiways intersect in not a lot of space.
OK now I'm really confused...
http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/l...d-to-accident/ at 1:47 shows the 4L-APCH hold short markers. But the aircraft is facing the opposite way and off the steerlines it was on during daylight. Did they tow it there to clear the taxiway as that doesn't seem to jive with daylight pictures.
