Only reason I am holding back is due to the impending rumors of a couple of big deals coming out. I want to wait to see what it is before applying for it.
Otherwise I think this deal isn't bad for some short haul flying (DAL-HOU for example) etc.

I could see a few reasons
- Don't live in a Southwest flying city
- Have too many cards/inquiries with Chase
- Have too many inquiries in general
- You don't want to fly Southwest.
For me, I haven't applied yet b/c my inquiries are through the roof. I'm hoping this offer sticks around another 30+ days, and then I will give it a shot. My home airport is OMA, so Southwest availability is great, and I could use 50,000 points to probably get 3 round trip flights!
