Still don't have my card - 22 days and counting... I called back for the fourth time and, after being put on hold for a very long time, was finally told that the card was not sent by courier during the strike after all. They simply sat on it for 11 days and then mailed it. So it could be anywhere in the postal system, stuck among the 40 million pieces of backlogged mail, and I may not see it for weeks yet.

I did ask whether they could simply cancel it and overnight me a new one - this is what Amex builds their reputation on, the ability to get you a new card just about anywhere on Earth in 24 hours - but I was told they can only do that for a replacement card. Because new cards have to be sent with and information package, apparently those can only be sent by regular mail. ()

I'm seriously not impressed.
