Genius1, you are absolutely correct, however, my visit to the arrivals lounge was done purely for logistical reasons as I didn't want to take all my toiletries and change of clothes through security and then to Paris with me. In fact, I emptied out much of the contents of my hand luggage and deposited this in my suitcase before handing it over at left luggage.
