mad_atta, this is nothing related to facts. I know there is great wine from Australia, no doubt. I was just on a tasting in different wineries in the Hunter Valley during christmas, and we did not find any really good red wines (I know Hunter Valley is not famous for red wines anyway). Also, they do too much machine-harvesting there and one winemaker told horror stories about all the wood, spiders and frogs which are in the wine so I always have to think of that when I see Australian wine
