I've heard at least one story about someone being escorted through a sterile area because he refused to be screened as he had no desire to enter the sterile area, only to exit the airport.
Screening is for people who want to enter the so-called sterile area (which is in no way sterile), not for people who have no intention or desire at all to enter the sterile area.
If you can use that when coming in off an international flight, clearing customs and only wanting to
leave the airport, why not on one of these 9-seaters?
