Since 'photo ID' seems to be a growing trend in identification... And even a Costco card suffices sometimes, i think i'm going to create my own photo ID, laminated etc. The organization will be 'Dirac Angestun Gesept' just for giggles.
It might even be accepted more often than a nexus card.
I get aggravated by merchants asking for ID when I use my Mastercard. By Merchant Rules, they can't require it - but just for grins, I know have a MasterCrad International Id card - complete with hologram, logo, signature.
Haven't tried it with TSA.
