Advice needed
Sorry if I have posted to the wrong board, this is my first post.
I booked an all inclusive vacation package to Negril Jamaica from DC. The travel agent (based in Florida) sent the tickets regular mail and they are now presumed lost. (Its been over a week). I am supposed to leave 8/26. They first told me I would have to pay $100 per ticket (non-refundable to the airline) to research the lost ticket, secondly, they could not guarantee the original flights (which were ideal for me on AA). After I refused to pay the $100, they are going to issue new tickets, but they will not be on the flights originally selected.
QUESTIONS:
I paid with a credit card, can I cancel the entire package, since I never received what was originally promised?
Are there any suggesstions? Do I have to take what they give me at this point? Its already been paid for.
