This thread makes me a bit sad. I was on an AA flight from LHR to JFK last month and had decided to get a bottle to try. I was quite looking forward to it. I had actually never bought anything from duty free on the plane before either.

And I dozed off and missed the duty free and didnt think of it until on final approach to JFK

I tried a rather large liquor store near us last night but it hasn't made it there in the retail supply yet. I had to settle for a bottle of Caol Ila Distillers Reserve and muddle through till I am back to the UK in August.
