I do. Every day.
I screen every bag and every passenger with the utmost attention to detail. I read up on the SOP during my own personal time so that I can remain proficient. I treat every passenger courteously, and if they're having a bad day, I don't let it affect me. I don't let them get under my skin.
I make on-the-spot corrections whenever needed ("behind the woodshed") and I praise officers in public whenever they do something that deserves praise.
That's how I do business.
