That's pretty much for International customers who are paying more for their tickets and a smaller number than AC deals with each day. The international MLLs now all have a hot course in the late afternoon/evening so can't see the OP's complaint. This is north America where airlines charge coach customers for meals. He should get used to that reality too. As for free wifi, as noted LH charges, and I don't recall being able to use my iPad while waiting in the boarding lounge for my last NZ flight unless I paid for access!
