I have to admit that the main problem with the taxi idea was security (and also can't speak Czech and don't know the city = high potential to be "taken for a ride" - pun intended).
Paying USD 33 isn't
that bad if it'll get me into the city in good time, do I need to tip for this? It'd be cheaper than me paying a taxi fare back at home, although for probably a shorter distance
miffSC, I might consider copying your form and looking up Prague Limousines.
The only thing is I will turn up at the restaurant with bags. Not bad for dinner, but awful for bar hopping. So it'll probably be finish dinner, perhaps one drink (depending on the bar), then back to the hotel for me.
