You tried to get a quick, cheap getaway and the hotel was giving you a fantastic suite. It had bugs so you didn't want to stay there. Then all kinds of options were presented, each of which gave you a free night in a full-service hotel. You hemmed and hawed, finally decided on something, and now after-the-fact you want more.
Again, I just don't get it. Hotels must love me, because I guess I'm just a sucker who tends to give them the benefit of the doubt and who never expects more than what I pay for.
I'm not sure how you're equating a room full of bugs with a 'little inconvenience.' I have a pretty strong stomach for that sort of thing, and it was disgusting, unsanitary, and pretty pathetic for a four-star hotel. But, to each his own.
