You're not willing to name the property on FT until you hear back from the manager re: possible compensation, yet you're going to post on TripAdvisor w/ pictures so others can be aware of the problem? Why not post the property's name on FT so we can be aware of the property? Also, when the manager responds to whatever compensation you're requesting, post that as well.

I want to give the manager a chance to explain the issue. If it was a one-off kind of thing, and he explains the procedures he took to ensure that it's been rectified and won't happen again, blah blah, I don't feel a need to publicly embarrass the property. It's obviously an issue and one that would result in a negative image for the hotel.
If the response leads me to believe that the issue isn't being addressed seriously, then I'll decide then.
