I am looking into flights later in the year from mpn to the USA.

There is about £300/$500 difference between direct flights scl-USA and those interlining at lim.

But...

There is only one flight per week scl-mpn, so big consequences if things go wrong.

How reliable (in general - I know there are no certainties in life) are baggage transfers and connections at lim?

PS sorry if this is a dumb question but my view is that the dumbest questions are the ones you DON'T ask! ;-)
