That is utter rubbish. I personally helped them install a BASIC program from 5.25" floppies to handle crew scheduling sometime around 1988. The fact that they had to rely on a 11-year old to help them spoke volumes for their competency in IT at the time, but they did actually have a computer which was quite an achievement in those days.
