Problem is I HAVE to make a couple of stops both at IKA and SIN so I think I'll see if I can combine an award routing per suggestion above with a cheapo side revenue either IST-IKA or DXB-IKA.

Relevant question: Does DXB require transit visa? I hold both American and Canadian passports so if push comes to shove I can use the USA passport to avoid the visa fees imposed on CDN pax.
