CX doesn't have the trans-pacific fifth freedom beyond TPE, and I doubt Taiwan government would grant it. Also, both CI/BR will strongly object CX to step into this market as well.
I know, but one can only wish. I have all but given up on CI, but BR has really disappoint me. They came in the airline business with all cylinders to the max, and now it seems like their company slogan is reduced to "Just be a little better than CI"
