I interviewed for and was approved for Global Entry at IAH last month. They didn't have any stickers. Is the sticker important? Should I swing by a different Global Entry office the next time I am nearby and try to pick one up?
ORD is the only place I've ever been asked for it under normal circumstances, and it was actually the customs guy who wanted to see it.
Officer also checked for it when I had to skip to the front of the line because the kiosk couldn't register my fingerprints at IAH, but I've had that problem elsewhere and the officer didn't check for the sticker.
I hope CBP isn't adopting TSA's 'planned inconsistency'.
