1. I'd be going to Asia 1-2x a year, using miles to get business class. This is not necessarily HKG, it could be TPE/PVG/PEK. I'd also go to either Europe or SA 1x a year, using miles to get business.
2. EWR is much more convenient than JFK. I go back 1-2x a year.
