http://blog.chargesmart.com/2011/01/...t-card-update/ points out that even though https://www.pge.com/marketing_csol/faq.html says "PG&E does not accept credit cards for payment", the pay by phone page at http://www.pge.com/myhome/myaccount/waystopay/phone/ appears to offer to pay PG&E via another company by credit card at 1-866-735-7742. It looks like that service only charges a flat $1.45 per transaction and now accepts a "Credit card with the Visa, MasterCard or Discover logo." I infer that the Visa support is new, as the glob.chargesmart.com article claimed that service only supported MasterCard and Discover.
