i pay electrical bill in coins. local drugstore is a payment processor and charges $1.50. Electrical bill is 3-400/month so that's an acceptable vig to pay.

In early December, 2010, chargesmart fees for Pacific Gas and Electric were $7.95 for payments up to $347.16 (~2.29% for that amount). Now they charge $3.95 for payments up to $199.99 (~1.975% for that amount).
Above these amounts, chargesmart adds a "large payment security fee."
