LAX-HNL-LAX
I just came back on UA #52 HNL-LAX old 747-100 which is 2 cycles from being retired.We took offf at 1PM HST and after 12 minutes in the air we returned due to fire on board.We landed on a shorter runway with all our fuel.So the plane was inspected and 3 and a half hours later we were back up in the air.
United was great SAFETY was their number 1 prority.
Hats off to UA.
