Hilton Inn, LIT

Hilton Inn Little Rock

The property appeared to be a converted 3-story motel. The lobby is in dire need of a good interior decorator. I was greeted by an employee who did not know how to check me in. In the meantime, another person approached her asking if a certain guest had checked in. She checks her computer and informs the person that another person with the same last name had checked in. After waiting about 10 minutes, somebody finally helps me check-in. She gives me my folio, which included a Hershey chocolate bar, and loudly reads my room number. I had to prompt her to enter my frequent flyer number and car
rental in my record.

On the way to my room, the smell of industrial cleaner is pronounced. The room had a cheap motel feel to it. The furniture
was 70s style. There were black stains all over the ceiling. The bathroom needs recaulking and the tub had a brownish shade
to it. There was no iron and ironing board in the room. I had to call housekeeping to get one.

The next morning, I get a call from housekeeping at 0725. I was being asked to leave the iron and ironing board outside my
room. I almost laughed in disbelief. A USA Today was delivered to my door. However, my hotel bill was not delivered as promised. Check-out was uneventful. Again, the front desk agent was not friendly. She handed me my hotel bill and did not even bother to ask how I liked my stay. Actually, that might have been a good thing. I only had a few minutes left before my meeting downtown.

Overall impression: F. The hotel needs extensive renovation. Hotel employees need to take a course in basic customer service. If you are traveling to LIT, there are other hotel chains you may consider staying at, i.e., Courtyard, Residence Inn, Embassy Suites, etc.
