Definitely go straight from T3 to T5, then you have to walk the length of T5 to the main BA lounge complex (Galleries South).... but note that the flight to GLA goes from the other end of the terminal, a good 10 minute walk, so don't miss your connection

If I'm traveling as an EXP on an AA-operated (IB codeshare) TATL flight, I can clearly get into the AA lounge. But does the IB codeshare disqualify me from the BA lounge? It's an AA-operated flight, so would that count under "either airline's TATL flights"?

If my husband (Plat) is traveling with me, he can clearly get into the AA lounge as my guest. Does the BA lounge also have a one-guest privilege for EXPs?

In any case I will report my experiences when we return.
If you are terminating at LHR on AA (arriving T3), I'd simply go to the AA Arrivals lounge. It is ideally set up with nice shower rooms and space for a simple breakfast... after all, few people want much in the way of breakfast arriving off an overnight.
