...I wrote to CO (including an e-mail to JS) after having an inoperative system on 7 of 8 segments this year...it took over a month for a reply with the standard "we are sorry and we are aware of the problem" Since the merger last year, I have flown on 16 CO segments (my poor rear end!) and have had Direct TV operational exactly 3 times!...not a great batting average!
To be honest, I have had more technical/mechanical problems with CO in the last six months than I have had with UA, AA and all other airlines I have flown in the past two years. I hope maintenance will be improving with the merger as I have to fly to IAH and CLE regularly!
FWIW, on my 100k worth of flights last year and 23k+ this year (all on DTV routes), I've only had a problem 1 time.
Since you seem to dislike CO so much, why not stay with UA metal?
