As a PHL based flyer, I specifically bought a Delta ticket because your employees are less annoying and more helpful than USAir's. I will even pay slightly more to fly DL because you provide me with a more pleasant flight experience.

Please don't ruin it for me.

Recently, during an IROP when making my connection looked problematic, I called the PM line to get backed up on a later flight. During the process, the agent starts explaining to me that, if I were to sign up for the Reserve card, I would be more likely to retain my upgrades in situations like I was in.

She had not yet booked me on the backup flight but, rather, apparently felt that shilling an AMEX card was the higher priority task.
