IMO, for a "first Vegas trip ever" (that's not a business trip)

MGM Signature is a rather 'blah' way to do it....

Of course, just my opinion.

If midweek, and the rates are low, I would aim for something more "Vegas" and "more special" (and relatively new) such as Encore, Palazzo or Aria.
