luggage.

I am upset by the service provided, where the guy at the counter was not helpful, had his head in his paperwork and not proactive at all.

He didnt even look up to offer advice as to what I should do. Its the first time I had a lost/delayed baggage situation so I didnt know what to do.

Luckily the guys in the front of the queue requested for a form and were filling it up...so I just followed.

I am also upset at how my luggage came back rather worse for wear.
I mean its people' stuff in there, I would think you dont kick about and treat it shabbily.

I do not advocate a litigious society - far from it. You can take it as venting or as highlighting problems I had with the service at man airport.

I have an upcoming flight to Singapore and will be travelling on BMI and then BA.

The return is likely to be on EK.

In case I encounter this delayed luggage issue again on my upcoming flight.

Can I get any comp from the airline to tide me over till they find the luggage even if I dont have travel insurance?

Or pipe down, fill up some forms and go shopping for some clothes till my luggage comes thru.
