its been so long since I have been to an ES that I forget what the reception usually includes . . .
I was at the ES Sacramento, CA recently and it was
unlimited drinks (lousy bottled beer and no draft - wine was chardonnay or merlot - vodka, gin, whiskey plus basic mixers)
food was chex mix, tortilla chips and salsa, carrots and celery sticks with ranch dressing
you could also order hors d'ouevres from the restaurant and the regular bar was open if you wanted to buy other drinks besides the free selection
