I have been told that the answer is yes, and according to what eyecue has posted I take it that he agrees?
For instance, when I am selected for a secondary screening I always tell the screener that I am unable to do XYZ. Several times the screener almost immediately tells me to do XYZ. I repeat calmly and slowly that I am physically unable to do XYZ.
This has caused several screeners to become very angry with me and I have been told that I am interfering with the screening process.
It is just one more example of many, many TSOs being unable to understand the variables of dealing with passengers (gender, nationality, physical limitations, cognitive limitations, etc)
