Actually you do need to carry your NEXUS card whenever you intend to use the kiosk, as well as having your passport. A large number of WN pilots wear leather jackets.
Also, I think anyone who has NEXUS knows they need to have their card. Its stupid not to anyway, as it makes a very handy - and address free - ID to show the criminals that work security. The OP's point was that they show it so people don't think they are just some punter jumping the line.
