The Twitter response from DL was great; they responded in less than ten minutes. Apparently they know of a few bugs in the system and they suggested that I call in to get a number. I'm not sure if I want to wait out their IT group to fix it or try waiting in the call queue just to enroll.
I found out that the error message they gave me on the site was very vague. I called in to get a new number when they told me I had an old NW/KLM number from 2002 without any e-mail addresses included. I managed to log on using that number and update my profile information.
