Well.. I would say congratulations for such a nice Christmas Gift! It seems that such gift "upgrade" comes as occasional as christmas gifts!! Very rare indeed based on my experience for the past three years.
I will be checking in the hotel on the 31st and I hope I find a my New Year gift! I will be in London for about 15-20 days but I decided to try for one more time (can be the last) the Park Tower. I booked the first four nights at this hotel and for the remaining period I made two bookings; one at the Park Tower (in case I get upgraded and decide to stay) and another one at the Belgravia (where everyone praise).
The way it looks now, that I will be moving to the Belgravia as they have upgraded me well in advance, almost two months before my stay.
With regard to TigerAirways's comments on the frontdesk manager, I can understand the feelings behind the comments. I would say that my experience has been as bad with this guy. The last thing I expect from a reputable business establishment is to lie upon their customers. What a shame....
I love the hotel, almost all the staff, the rooms and above all its location. But that doesn't mean that it's worthy of my business if I have to deal with people with such "low class" attitude.
I will let you knoe about the outcome of my stay.
