Are we certain that the brace was metal? Many are plastic.

Why are the hand held wands no longer used to assess dressings? Many people have dressings with no metal pieces, and I don't understand the need or desire to press down on the injury to 'clear' it. That has been reported many times here by several of us.

On the side topic, I would like to think that I have generally avoided 'hateful diatribes' and name calling since I began posting here. But I will say (as I have said before) that my opinion of the TSA changed in large part due to what I read here and on the TSA blog. There are effective ways to get the point across, and that applies to all sides of the argument.

I don't know which came first - the chicken or the egg, but I do still read posts from some TSOs who manage to respond to questions with respect and candor (when possible). I'd like to see the relationship repaired on both sides but unfortunately I don't know if that is even possible anymore.

As a somewhat neutral party however who avoids hyperbole and name calling, I do know how and why my opinions changed.
