Neat lamp.
If it's like other lamps, then it'll have a weighted base -- this can cause it to shield other items in the carry-on it's in. I would recommend pulling it out of your carry-on and putting into the x-ray separately. That way, if the base
does cause a shield, they can run their test on it and do a physical inspection without having to go into your bag. This saves time for you, and for us.
Once all is said and done, I have serious doubts that it would give you any kind of problem otherwise.
