They fact that they needed to do it in two bookings could be due to SQ only releasing one C seat at a time and after you grab that one another one appears. Just guessing though. 2hrs is insane though even for ICC standards for what should be a very straightforward affair.
Thanks very much - yes insane indeed. No, I tried the "book 1 x seat and another pops up" plan but that didn't work - it seemed that the
only way that they could book them was as a seperate resrvation. Odd indeed but it's ticketed.
Anyway I am pleased at it's my first SQ redemption for two years or so - since SQ started to act as though they are independent of *A
