CO SWU = 4, valid on any fare, good till the next elite year
UA SWU = 6, valud on W or higher, good 1 year after issue.

Buying up to a W fare (which to certain places, i.e SYD) can be high, buillds ill will, in my opinion, especially if it doesn't clear.

I wish they would give 1K's a choice. Some people prefer 4 (valid on any fare) others would not mind the UA system.

But perhaps we should be thankful that UACO is not following the DL model. I geniunely feel sorry for those people
